This event is to bring together all of the Fans of Rocky Point and to encourage and promote TOURISM in Puerto Penasco, Mexico - aka Rocky Point!
There are 2 full weekends of events and activities that are being planned - one in May and one in July. Events and activities will include a welcoming reception the first evening, fishing, boating, kayaking, snorkeling, dinner, dancing, jet skiing and MUCH MORE!! All events and activities will either be free or will be available to all Fans of Rocky Point who have RSVP'd at preferred VIP rates!! We have lots of surprises in store for everyone!

People are wondering about the details, so I have put together a preview of what will be happening:
FRIDAY, MAY 14, 2010
WELCOME RECEPTION, 5PM
This will be a social event for the FANS OF ROCKY POINT to check in for the May Bash. You will need to check in at this event where you will receive a wrist band that will give you Preferred VIP rates at various places throughout Rocky Point during the whole weekend of the bash! You will also receive vouchers for any of the participating activities that you have a reserved spot. If you do not pick up your vouchers, those spots will open up again for others on the wait list. There will be dinner available to everyone (VIP price to be determined). We will be having several raffles throughout the evening – you must be present to win. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the check in. You will also receive a bag of goodies that you can use throughout the weekend!

We will be offering many different activities for the FANS OF ROCKY POINT to participate in during the weekend. You will need to sign up and reserve your spot as spaces will be limited with many of the activities. I will have a list of the activities, times, places, any costs associated, etc… listed soon. Activities will include:
Sunset Cruise, Kayaking lessons, Kayaking excursions, Jet skiing rentals, ATV rentals, deep sea fishing, snorkeling, sand castle building contest, boat tours, trips to Bird Island, Golf...
DINNER AND DANCING, 7PM, THE POINTE RESTAURANT
Another social event for the FANS OF ROCKY POINT! Enjoy a night of dinner and dancing at this beautiful restaurant situated on the Sea of Cortez!

> Due to overwhelming interest at the November Rally, the Camel Toe Cantina along with several other local businesses have decided to add another annual rally.

> The 1st annual Rocky Point Fun Run will be held from May 5-9, 2010. We are still working on the final details but we have a group of no less than 20 local businesses involved so far and we have been working with City officials to ensure it as a success.

> There will be no registration fee. Those who register (free) will receive an event calendar and a VIP card used for discounts at participating businesses.

> The first 500 registrants will also receive a 2010 Fun Run pin.

> We will have several events and the City is cooperating in both planning and logistics. Sponsors will donate 5% of their earnings to local charities (TBD).
